For Students
Why should students get involved in science? One reason is that our future on the planet depends on having scientists able to answer tough questions. A second reason is that science can be a lot of fun. This section of the website will show the great lengths scientists go to satisfy their curiosity. We’ll follow them as they climb high into the forest canopy to install solar panels and sensors. We’ll document how they changed rainfall in a meadow to simulate the impact of global warming. We’ll follow them into the river as they observe the behavior of the miniature creatures that live on the slimy, green algal mats that float on the still water. Stay tuned!
