without Walls About the NRS
Formed in 1965, the University of California Natural Reserve System preserves
open lands which reflect California's natural diversity and manages these sites
specifically for teaching, research, and outreach. Unmatched in size, scope, and
ecological diversity, the NRS's thirty-four sites represent the largest
university-operated system of natural reserves in the world About EAOP EAOP helps California's educationally disadvantaged students turn dreams into reality. Here, hardworking students who are determined to go to college get the help they need to prepare for admission to the University of California and other top colleges and universities. The University of California Early Academic Outreach Program works with students, their families, educators and communities throughout the state. Offices are located at each UC campus and in Fresno.
